Bobby J. Tutor
Owner – Chairman
Meet Bobby J. Tutor
Bobby’s commitment to the electrical industry extends beyond his own company. He has played a pivotal role in the IEC Fort Worth-Tarrant County Chapter, IEC of Texas and IEC National, with 19 years of service in various leadership positions. His past roles include Board Member (since 1995), President of the Fort Worth-Tarrant County Chapter, President of IEC of Texas, IEC National Regional Director, IEC National Secretary-Treasurer, and IEC National President. Bobby remains actively involved in the association, emphasizing the importance of training future electricians.
Under Bobby’s leadership, the company has maintained a 100% track record for project completion since its inception in 1993. His unwavering commitment to honesty, quality work, and a positive company culture underscores his mission to provide excellent service, generate profits, and ensure employment opportunities. Bobby actively encourages all employees to strive for excellence, fostering a culture of integrity and high performance from the beginning.
In his spare time, Bobby enjoys golf, fishing and flying.

Brian K. Brinkmann

Brian K. Brinkmann
Brian has been actively involved in the electrical industry for almost 35 years, with over 27 years at Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. After an eight-year career in Retail Management, Brian entered and completed a four-year Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program. He came to Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. in 1997 from a contractor in Florida, where he worked as a Project Foreman/Superintendent, successfully completing several large commercial and institutional projects. Brian is a licensed Journeyman Electrician and has worked as a Project Foreman, Estimator, Project Manager, and Vice President at Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. prior to being named Chief Operating Officer.
Brian is committed to the successful future of the merit-shop, independent electrical contractor through his leadership roles with the Independent Electrical Contractors Association (IEC), serving on the Board of Directors of IEC Fort Worth, and the Professional Development Committee of IEC National.
Brian holds a Post-Secondary Technical Degree in Industrial Electricity from Eastern Florida State College and is a graduate of the 80-hour Construction Project Management Institute at Purdue University. He also holds Masters’ degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Tarleton State University.

Meet Karen Graves
Karen brings over 20 years of financial management experience to her role as Controller at Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. Her commitment to efficiency has been pivotal in ensuring the company’s financial health and operational success.
With a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, Karen oversees all aspects of financial reporting, budget management, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Tutor Electrical Service, Inc., Karen held senior financial positions in both large corporations and government entities, where she honed her skills in cost control and process improvement. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Texas-Dallas, and earned the Fundamentals of Payroll certification from the American Payroll Association.
Karen is known for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to build strong relationships. Her dedication to excellence and attention to detail make her a valued asset to the Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. team.

Diana Tutor

Meet Diana Tutor
Diana has been actively involved in the construction industry for over 40 years. She was employed for 10 years with a successful general contractor operating in commercial markets, where she worked in the accounting, purchasing, and project management departments. Diana continued her growth by joining a fire protection contractor for 6 years. There she worked in accounting and all areas of office management. She joined Bobby in launching Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. in 1993. As a direct result, she has gained knowledge and experience in most phases of construction and now currently serves as Corporate Secretary-Treasurer and VP of Finance.

Jason S. Werry

Meet Jason S. Werry
Jason has actively been involved in the construction industry since 2003. He received his formal electrical training through the Independent Electrical Contractors Fort Worth -Tarrant County Chapter Apprenticeship School and is a graduate of the 80-hour Project Management Institute at Purdue University. Jason has held positions from apprentice electrician, journeyman electrician, foreman, field superintendent, and is now serving as the special project manager. Jason is a licensed Master Electrician. Under Jason’s supervision, Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. has successfully completed projects ranging in size from $100K to over $2M.

Brandi Patterson

Meet Brandi Patterson
Brandi joined Tutor Electrical Service, Inc. in 2018. Brandi serves as coordinator for both the service and construction departments. She performs duties consisting of service call scheduling, dispatch of technicians, helping manage construction jobs, and related accounting functions.

Tony Adrian

Meet Tony Adrian
Tony began his career in the Electrical trade in 2003. For the first four years, he worked on new construction sites as an apprentice electrician while attending the IEC. Upon completion of the apprenticeship program and receiving his journeyman’s license, Tony took on the role of Job site foreman for the new construction department for the next eight years. The opportunity arose for Tony to enter the service department and run a service truck in 2015, which he continued until September 2018. Tony has been the customer service representative for Tutor Electric, estimating, quoting, and managing service projects ever since.

As the Director of First Impressions at Tutor Electrical Service, Inc., Abby plays a pivotal role in ensuring every interaction with our office is marked by warmth, efficiency, and professionalism. With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to exceptional customer service, Abby welcomes clients, partners, and visitors with a friendly demeanor and ensures their needs are met promptly.
Abby brings over 15 years of experience in customer service, where she has honed her skills in communication and organization from her many years in the medical and dental field. Her ability to manage multiple tasks seamlessly, coupled with her proactive approach to problem-solving, makes her an invaluable asset to our team.
Beyond her administrative duties, Abby takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment. She collaborates closely with our team to uphold our commitment to excellence in client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Her passion for creating positive first impressions and fostering strong client relationships makes her a cornerstone of our office culture.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys concerts, baseball, her family and her four-legged kids, reflecting her vibrant personality and dedication.

Over the past twenty years, Jordan has had the great pleasure of working with pets and their people. Between furry cuddles and puppy play-bows, this has taught her the importance of effective communication and problem-solving, two skills that translate well into any customer service role. As the Front Office Coordinator, Jordan offers a friendly space to anyone she meets, organizes events that keep the Tutor community connected, and serves as a cheerleader and support staff member to her awesome teammates!

Beginning his career at Tutor Electric in a hands-on position, David demonstrated a strong aptitude for the trade and a deep understanding of the electrical industry. His dedication, combined with his ability to manage projects efficiently, led to his promotion to Field Superintendent, where he now oversees day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest safety standards.

Meet Gary Smith
Gary relocated to his home state of Texas in July 2023, following the profound loss of his beloved wife, Deborah, to leukemia in November of the same year. Since then, Gary has found companionship and support in his service dog, Missy.
Before joining Tutor Electric in mid-July 2024, Gary spent several years working with U.S. Electric and Communications in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he built a strong foundation in the electrical and communications industry beginning in 2017.
Gary is a proud U.S. Army Veteran, with a background in Special Operations, and he served on Presidential Detail for former President Ronald Reagan—an experience that shaped his leadership and commitment to excellence.
As the Warehouse Supervisor and Fleet Manager at Tutor Electric, Gary plays a pivotal role in maintaining and overseeing the company’s fleet of vehicles, as well as ensuring the efficient distribution of materials and the arrangement of specialized equipment for job sites. His ability to manage these responsibilities with precision has contributed to the company’s ongoing success.
Gary is also well-versed in the principles of the Franklin Covey program, “7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” by Stephen Covey. He applies this knowledge to foster synergy, collaboration, and a Win-Win attitude in all aspects of his work at Tutor Electric, making him a valued and respected member of the team.

Kevin Warner

Meet Kevin Warner
Kevin brings 32 years of experience to Tutor Electrical Service, Inc., having spent the majority of his career at UTA (University of Texas at Arlington), where he honed his skills as a fleet mechanic. During his time at UTA, Kevin gained extensive expertise in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of vehicles and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. His experience also includes significant work in warehouse operations, where he developed a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supporting fleet operations.
Kevin’s transition to Tutor Electrical Service has allowed him to apply his deep industry knowledge in new ways, becoming an invaluable member of the team. Outside of work, Kevin has been happily married for 40 years, and he and his wife have raised two daughters. They are also joined by a beloved dog, which adds joy and energy to their home. Kevin’s strong work ethic, combined with his dedication to family, continues to guide both his professional and personal life.
